HyperStar X Duel

Sometimes you just gotta join a jam, even when you realize you actually have 2 weeks and not a full month to work on a game. Help!

Join the first 'HyperStar X Duel Universal Tournament' and look for your childhood friend who taught you how to play the HyperStar X Duel card game and you totally had a crush on!

P. S. It's in space, ace cards fight for real against each other, you might die if you lose. But you made a promise, and that's the most important thing!

Featuring:

• A silly card minigame
• All the tropes I like the most in my stupid shounens (affectionate) + girls loving girls
• Giant robots fighting, for some reason
• No sound effects, because I'm tired (might patch this someday) EDIT: This has been patched in 2.0! The game now has a lot of sound effects (more than a year later)
• Extremely cute art by Momo
• A surprise insert song that's kind of embarassing but it seemed really fun to do one

Made for the Battle Action Fantasy VN Jam 2023, which you should probably check out after spending 20 minutes on this game.
